e2w drive

Your work, backed up where it already is.

e2w drive backs up the folders you already work in. You don't have to move anything, tidy anything up, or change the way you work.

e2w means east to west.

3 GB free, and we don't ask for a card.

There is no e2w folder.

Most backup services hand you one folder and expect you to move all your work into it. That's a day's job, and it's why a lot of people start and never finish. We do it the other way round. You tell us which folders matter. They stay exactly where they are, and we back them up there.

Every save is kept

Not just the last one. There's no limit on how many we keep. OneDrive stops at 500. Google stops at 100.

Deleted isn't gone

Delete something by accident and it waits in Recently deleted for 30 days. One click brings it back, exactly as it was.

Go back to last Tuesday

Put a folder, or your whole drive, back to how it looked at any moment. You see what will change before anything changes.

Ransomware can't reach it

It scrambles the files on your computer. It can't touch the copies here, and every older version is still there and still readable.

Locks on the links you send

Put a password on a link. Give it a date it stops working. Limit how many times it can be downloaded. Change your mind and switch it off.

Ask people for files

Send someone a link and they can drop files into your drive. No account needed, and they can't see anything else you keep there.

See everything it does · the technical list

Where your files are.

The list of them File names, sizes, dates, and who you've shared with: the United Kingdom.
AI None. Nothing here opens a file to look inside it. Nothing is sent to an AI, and nothing of yours is used to train one.

The free trial, start to finish.

It's a trial rather than a free plan, and we'd rather you knew how it ends before you start than found out later.

  • 3 GB, and no card. One per person.
  • It ends when the drive is full, not on a set date. About a week if you're quick about it.
  • Nothing is deleted when it fills up. Backing up stops, that's all. Everything is still there, and you can still download any of it.
  • Two months after it fills up, we remove the drive from our end. We email you first, and there's a one-click way to download the lot.
  • The copies on your own computers are never touched. We're the backup. The originals stay yours.
  • Upgrade, or clear some space, and that stops.

What it can't do yet.

e2w drive is new, and this is the honest list. We'd rather lose a sign-up than give somebody a nasty surprise in week two.

Getting started.

Sign up, confirm your email, install it on Windows, and point it at the folders that matter. Nothing moves.
